Sola Christus layered wood art is an excellent visual reminder that our salvation by faith alone in Christ alone! The bottom layers is painted black, like our wretched hearts and represents the sin Christ took upon Himself from all His elect. The second layer is crimson red representing the blood shed by Him to make atonement for the sins of the whole world, both Jew and Gentile. Finally the top layer crown is golden representing the glory Christ has now achieved having redeemed a people unto Himself and that He is seated in glory at the right hand of the Father, as the lamb slain before the foundation of the world!
